the black hole of denver

i live about an hour north of downtown denver, yet every couple of days i find myself getting sucked back into the city and staying there far, far longer than originally intended. a few hours with friends usually turns into a 3 day extravaganza of excitement... or at bare minimum, 3 days of copious amounts of giggling.

this really does beg the question of why the heck i'm not living there in the first place. truly friends, i have no answer. however, i'm looking to remedy the situation. i solemnly swear to keep you updated on the development. actually that's not really true. updating folk isn't really my bag, but i thought i'd make you feel better by saying it was.

on a super positive note: I HAVEN'T HAD A SEIZURE IN A WEEK! (more or less). okay that's a semi-lie. BUT the time when i almost started having one i was able to quell pretty thoroughly.(!!!) i might have to bake myself cookies in celebration. or someone could buy me a pony. both are good.

hm. in other news, i...

... just finished kiterunner. intense book and entirely enjoyable. read it.

... had an adventurous frolic in sprinklers on a very chilly evening a night or two ago. muy enjoyable as well and also highly recommended.

... saw the new quentin tarantino movie, inglourious basterds. absolutely absurd movie, which made me adore it. however, absolutely too violent, but what else would you expect? it made me really wish i had a cool song that played every time someone looked at me. "hey look there's nicolle" *banerdibaderinbaaaaa* (insert wicked guitar solo)

... some how caused the cessation of the proper functionality of my phone. how? we may never know. sad day.

... think life would be significantly more spectacular for the world as a whole if kansas folk would set out on a quest to see yours truly. lame people, get off your cheeks and get in the car.

with that, i bid you adieu.

ps. have you seen the new camaro? i've never been much of a camaro fan but, phew, that car is sexy.
