aquatic life

i was in the pool with my gma yesterday. it was superb. and i definitely got burnt.

you have to understand, my gma is spectacular. the other day she was hounding me to come and visit my "old" grandparents. i usually forbid her from using the word old in reference to herself, so i harassed her about it. she then told me to come visit her "sexy" grandparents. oh gma.

my gma also happens to be the wisest lady i've every met. pillar in the faith? i think so. this in mind, we were discussing the superpowers we'll have when our bodies are redeemed in Christ. i've decided that if God grants us the abilities that Christ has when he was raised from the dead (walking through walls, randomly appearing/disappearing, etc.) then i claim the right to breathe underwater. i don't think i'd ever resurface even though i'm not the most adept swimmer in the world. i'm not that ecstatic about swimming. i just like the feeling of being engulfed.

which is a funny thing if you think about it. water. flood. deluge. soul.

i like the feel of this aquatic life. anyone else wanna come for a dip?

  1. Hey. We should go swimming at the lake when I get back. If that doesn't gross you out. If you'll be in Manhattan. Someone put a bug in my ear that you may headed south To B.Way?
